Summer was born on the first day of summer, and with the most wonderful blue eyes! This is Hope's first foal. Both sire and dam are homozygous for the tobiano pinto gene. Her dam Hope we believe also carries the splashed white gene, and I suspect that Summer does too, though we are unable to test for that at this time. She was just 19 inches at birth, and is a real gem. Petite, with a gentle personality. She would be a great asset to a color breeding program. She is homozygous for the Tobiano Pinto gene, and can never produce a solid foal no matter what stallion she is bred to. She has also tested Homozygous for Black (she can never produce a red foal no matter what stallion she is bred to). And with those gorgeous blue eyes that make you melt! A lot of flash in a small package!

Sapphire has the Arabian - type head and body that are so sought after in the miniature horse world. She also has the most beautiful sparkling blue eyes. Her sire is Magic Man's Color Prints, a National Champion LTD's Magic Man son, and her lovely dam, Pacific Desire, was born here. This little girl was so anxious to see what the world was like that she chose to arrive a bit early at just over 300 days. Around her tail area she has the most interesting freckles, and on her neck she has an eye catching triangular patch which makes it look like she is wearing a necklace. As you can see from her video, she has wonderful movement and beautiful conformation. Just like her sire, Color Prints, she is also a bay frame sabino pinto, who is homozygous for black. This little filly is an excellent example of just how far the miniature horse breed has come in the last decade.

Within four days his You Tube video was seen over 40,000 times and continues to be watched worldwide !! This little colt was smaller than we imagined he would be at birth. But he is large when it comes to personality. He is perfectly happy using his legs or having us carry him around. He readily comes over to both other horses as well as people, and seems oblivious to the fact he is so small right now. Ever wonder what it feels like to pick up a thirteen pound baby miniature horse? It feels like you are lifting a down pillow!! His sire is Magic Man's Color Prints, a National Champion LTD's Magic Man son, and his dam, Bond Tivoli, is 100% Bond breeding. Tivoli's sire is the legendary Bond Sir Galahad. Chip is a color power pack! Combining both the Frame gene and the Tobiano gene for color, as well as the conformation to be an outstanding future herd sire. Check out that body! According to the Bond family, Tivoli is "I love it" spelled back words. We love her too. Tivoli is another jewel from Lynda at Sugar Creek. She has produced homozygous tobianos, toveros, and overos for us. Her right side is entirely white. Her sire is the famous Bond Sir Galahad a black tobiano pinto and her dam is a silver black mare.

This stallion is a powerhouse of color, and is an ideal horse to bring both color and refinement into a future breeding program. When Moonlighting was foaled he appeared to be a solid white. Much to our surprise when we clipped him out a few months later we uncovered large charcoal black spots on his flank, belly, back right leg, and in his right ear, under the all that baby white. Proving once again that breeding horses for color is always a learning experience, and certainly entertaining! This is the third foal we have had by our bay frame sabino stallion, Color Prints, and our mare Pacific Liberty, a jet black tobiano pinto mare. The first foal, Pacific Batik Prints, is a stallion now living in Australia. Liberty's fourth foal, Pacific Jazzabelle, is living in the United Kingdom. Two great pedigrees, and outstanding conformation have produced another exceptional foal. What an amazing array of color this stallion will be throwing; frame, sabino, and tobiano pintos. With an added bonus of being homozygous for black.

This little lady began our 2009 foaling season. She has tested positive for the frame (LWO) pinto gene, but also has the classic sabino markings on her face and the jagged white leg markings. She has a dun line back and shoulder baring and appears to be carrying the dun gene. She tests negative for the sabino (sb1) gene, so we think she is also carrying a sabino gene that we cannot test for at this time. She is a lovely, rich bay color. Her sire is a solid homozygous for black stallion Pacific Valentino. He combines the LTD Magic Man and Bar L lines. Her dam, Evette, is a Bay Frame Sabino Overo Pinto. Both Evette's sire and dam were frame overos. Evette's sire is La Vista Brilliant Remark, and her dam is Ashley Acres Eve Was Framed. This would be the perfect horse to use in a frame overo breeding program, or any serious pinto breeding program Spice loves attention, and has a zest for life. She has a sweet personality.

This little lady says "show me"! Jet black, with dazzling blue eyes, tiny tipped in ears, and a dishy head for that Arabian look that is so popular in the show ring. She is beautifully marked and a delight to watch in motion. She is a jet (non fading) black color. Fantasia has both the frame and the tobaino pinto genes and would be an incredible addition to a color breeding program.

She is staying small. We expect she will be about 30 inches as an adult.

WOW! This colt is absolutely breathtaking! He is exceptionally refined, with extremely delicate features. He has an incredible head and eye, a long and hooky neck, and a gorgeous body. He is nothing short of spectacular. Hot Spots is a dream come true. An awesome body with spots galore. Forever showing off with a "watch me" attitude. Jet black, tiny muzzle constant tipped in ears, and a dishy head for that Arabian look that is so popular in the show ring. Both sire and dam are jet black (non fading) tobiano pintos. Taking after his sire, All That Jazz, with spots big and small, placed all over his body. The white lightning stripe with black smudge adds interest to his face and highlights his tiny muzzle. A wonderful combination of the immortal Rowdy lines and the Buckaroo lines. This grulla mare has the sought after frame gene as well as the dilution (cream) gene. An awesome combination to bring buckskin and palomino color as well as the frame pattern into your breeding program. Coco was a classic grulla at birth complete with dorsal stripe, shoulder and neck baring, and leg stripes. When we clipped her out as a yearling she was dark underneath, with the cream coloration was visible around her muzzle, flank and behind her front legs. She also appears to have received a sabino gene from her sire Top Cat. Her coat is showing an all over roaning. Her dam Rowdy Lass has cob webbing on her back and as a three year old this mare is also getting the cob webbing (see photo of back). She is continuing to change as she ages and is getting more sabino roaning throughout her coat and also on her legs. Her back right leg looks like a stocking, but this is caused by the sabino gene. This is a well proportioned horse that would be a great asset to a color breeding program.

This exceptionally exquisite mare is by our Frame Sabino stallion Magic Man's Color Prints, and out of our Tobiano mare Pacific Painted Evening. Both sire and dam are by national grand champion stallions well known for halter, color, and driving top ten wins. This is a very elegant mare with a beautiful feminine head and long neck. Dancer has an unusual pattern of white distributed throughout her coat. Neither sire nor dam are roans or gray, and Dancer tests sabino (sb1) negative. We believe she is carrying another type of sabino gene that we are unable to test for at this time. Her color varies throughout the season and is darker in winter than in her summer coat seen here. Dancer is being bred to Pacific Mad Hatter for a 2010 foal. This breeding will produce a black or bay foal.

Dancer has tested positive for the Tobiano gene, and is homozygous for black (she can never produce a red foal no matter what stallion she is bred to). She has tested negative for the Frame (LWO) and the Sabino (sb1) gene.

Masquerade was born on Halloween 2007! He has a beautiful refined body, and dishy head with blue eyes.  A blue blooded pedigree matches this colts conformation. His dazzling blue eyes are surrounded by black eyeliner pigment on the left eye. We purchased his sire, Knollac Buckin Rhythms Top Cat, from Bev Thawley in Delaware. He was our first pure sabino herd stallion. Sabinos add dazzle to any color pattern they are added to. They are the perfect addition to frame and tobiano pintos for that extra sizzle in the color pattern. His pedigree includes the legendary Boones Little Buckaroo and Gold Melody Boy.  His dam Strawberry, is a red frame overo pinto. She was the top selling mare at The Miniature Horse Event in Texas in 1997 where she was purchased for over $20,000 by Aloha Ashly Acres.
