CC Steppin in Bleu Suede Shoes

Blue Jeans is the name she came with, and it has stuck as her call name. This is a sweet mare that has settled in, and is enjoying her new herd. She was shy at first, and still is learning to trust humans. She had several foals before we got her, and is a loving dam to her foals. Her first foal for us was Pacific Levi, an elegant, refined colt. She has tested homozygous for black, and therefore will never have a red foal no matter what stallion she is bred to. Blue Jeans is one of those mares that will talk to you and let you know what she is thinking. She is the first roan we have ever had. We delight in seeing her coat color change with the seasons. Shown here in her summer coat, in fall she turns black, and in spring she was all white! Roan horses have a coat of many colors. We look forward to seeing roan foals in her future.

She has been genetically tested and is Homozygous for Black (EE); therefore she can never have a red foal no matter what stallion she is bred to.
